|thefaeryking||11:11 pm - Dear Friends,|
It is so wonderful that people like you are, in a most universal way, a part of the consciousness of The Gossamer Court.
Perhaps you can make this experience. It would be a blessing to have you participate in this evening.
Namaste, His Serene Highness, Yust II Oberon, Fae Rex, Elemental Majesty of The Gossamer Court and Monarch of The Fae Realm.
From The Cincinnati Press
"The opener for Incus' shows is local poet Yust Lundberg, a.k.a. "The Faery King," "His Divine Y-Ness" and"The Mystical, Magickal, Yust II Oberon." All of those titles are a lot to live up to, and Yust doesn't disappoint. His poems on a variety of subjects are compelling, and his stage presence is magnetic. Yust has been likened to Jim Morrison of The Doors on stage. His shamanistic, raw-yet-refined appeal is similar to Morrison's but more genuinely spiritual. It's a fine weekend to fall under the spell of these two acts. Gather 'round their fire." ("Dale Johnson")
The second act will begin with Prayerfromance Artist, THOTH http://www.skthoth.com
"Subject of an Academy Award winning film and one of the most talented
and unique artists in the world, Thoth uses a four octave plus vocal range, dance, theater, comedy, stillness, philosophy, language deconstruction, aerobics,... all accompanied by foot percussion and violin to transmit legends of the Festad - a mythologial land he has invented, while mesmerizing audiences with his prodigious energy."
The second act close with Incus, the dark tribal orchestra and a chant led by Jason Cohen, band founder and lead musician and singer.
Incus, from Boston, MA are an 8 piece tribal, dynamic and mesmerizing World Music band. Their music is evocative, with mixed vocals, various drums and percussion, cello, violin, keyboards and accordion. Their stage show includes beautiful dancing and impassioned performance with a fiery sound. Dark and light, struggle and love, the divine feminine and masculine energies are all honored in their magical workings. “Forestdance” the travelling sacred dynamic fire circle gatherings that they produce, cultivate a large part of the energetic subtleties and the medicine that can be felt and experienced within their music. See for yourself why Incus has been tagged "Music for Fire Worshippers". http://www.incus.net, http://www.Forestdance.net.
In helping CoSM, you are doing great service to seeker and art lover alike. You are also making the Faery King very happy, as CoSM is the center of his spiritual world.
Please support the work and events of CoSM.

I am writing this today because I am very concerned with the upcoming November Elections. As most of you are probably aware there are many Important issues to be decided by this election other than the President of the United States. Foremost in my mind being issue #1, which reads as follows:
STATE ISSUE 1 - PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT (Proposed by Initiative Petition) Adopted by the Ohio Ballot Board on Tuesday, August 17, 2004.Be it Resolved by the People of the State of Ohio: That the Constitution of the State of Ohio be amended by adopting a section to be designated as Section 11 of Article XV thereof, to read as follows: Article XV Section 11. Only a union between one man and one woman may be a marriage valid in or recognized by this state and its political subdivisions. This state and its political subdivisions shall not create or recognize a legal status for relationships of unmarried individuals that intends to approximate the design, qualities, significance or effect of marriage. A majority yes vote is necessary for passage. (The Secretary of State certified Issue 1 for the November ballot in order to meet the September 8th deadline. At the same time, the Secretary’s office acknowledged that legal challenges to the petitions continue in several counties and that the measure could ultimately be removed from the ballot if insufficient signatures are certified.)
To be honest it shocks me that our country has come to this. We, as Americans, claim to be about equality for all. So tell me how we have gone from civil rights to affirmative action to banning a fundamental right of every man and woman in our country who is homosexual? Many of you our there will claim that it is morally irresponsible to allow Gay/Lesbian marriages. But may I remind you that we are supposed to live in a country where church and state are separate. Morals are a religious tool. And if your morals tell you to deny a U.S. citizen a natural right because of their sexual orientation I say that you are completely ignorant in what our country is supposed to stand for. Please stand up for equality in America. I would sincerely hate to think our country is moving backwards in the year 2004. Vote No on Issue 1.

|thefaeryking||03:09 pm - Heart Of Darkness|
This piece wil debut with a mini drum circle in Kentucky when The Faery King opens for Incus.
Cupid pets his wings, as he blows razor blade cold, into the steel arrow penetrating the fragile beating heart,
Oaken vessels of despair ship wrecked, heart sadly musing, now where on this isle of desolation, despair does one go.
Spikes driven through flesh of this tender soul, good emotion held in cold, pain gripping, now out of control,

|thefaeryking||12:40 pm - Perhaps The Only Pagan Charity Of It's Kind|
My Association With Robin's Hood CommUnity Center....is not one taken lightly. It truly is a community effort of the highest caliber. As one of several representatives of this wonderful charity, I have never been more proud to carry a business card in my wallet or less afraid of saying "please help us get the job done".
This is not the kind of work one tailors around ones life but rather a cause you tailor your life around.
You may contact me on the email@example.com account for all personal matters and firstname.lastname@example.org with all matters related to Robin's Hood and fund raisers etc... With all of the work ahead, not to mention the constant preparation for shows, openings and readings, I will not be devoting as much time to the computer. Some of you may breathe easier now.
After weeks of travel throughout the northeast I can honestly say that it is good to be home. This marriage of art and social change suits me greatly. My written endeavors shall be confined to show development. Mister Mojo and I are going to be working on something very cool.
It is more practical for me to post on the group boards. I will always make time to answer private and charity related correspondence.
